What the work is

The trades on our roster.

We are not advertising a specific opening on this page. If you are any of the below and you are in British Columbia, send the video anyway. Glazing crews are built ahead of the work, not after it.

  1. Glaziers, journeypersons and apprentices

    A glazing crew measures openings, carries and sets glass, installs entrances and curtain wall, and returns for repairs when a building needs them. Apprentices learn the safe sequence, tools and systems beside journeypersons; experience can lead into specialty work, service or crew leadership.

  2. Aluminum fabricators

    In the shop, an aluminum fabricator reads drawings, cuts and prepares profiles, assembles frames and checks each piece before it travels to site. The work teaches systems, tolerances and sequencing, and can lead into specialty fabrication or field coordination.

  3. Project managers

    A project manager moves between drawings, procurement, shop questions, site constraints and client conversations. They learn to see the package as a chain of decisions, then carry that judgment from handover through closeout and service.

  4. Estimators

    An estimator reads tender documents, measures scope, tests assumptions and builds a price the project team can stand behind. The role sharpens commercial judgment and connects early decisions to preconstruction and project delivery.

  5. Drafters

    A drafter turns design and field information into shop drawings, details and submittals, checking how an assembly will actually be made and installed. The work links architectural intent to aluminum, glass and site conditions, then leads into design assist and coordination.

  6. Superintendents

    A superintendent starts with what the site can receive: openings, access, predecessor work, crews and sequence. They solve the field problems drawings cannot settle, coordinate installation and learn how to bring a package to handover.

  7. Service technicians

    A service technician works on the building after turnover, touching glass, doors, hardware, operators and sealants while diagnosing the condition that made the call urgent. The day builds judgment in repair, communication and building care, and can lead from one-off fixes to assessments and longer-term maintenance.
