Service & Maintenance

Service & Maintenance is a dedicated part of our business and is not simply squeezed in around large construction projects. It has its own crews, its own regions and its own numbers.

Two rope-access glaziers on a curtain wall, guiding a replacement glass unit into its opening with vacuum lifters.
Sealed units come out and go back in on buildings that stay open.

Building Envelope Care Assessment

A free walkthrough, before anything is quoted.

Our complimentary Building Envelope Care Assessment (BECA) is a practical high-level walkthrough of accessible glazing, entrances, windows, curtain wall, storefront, sealants and related building-envelope components. We walk the property with the client, discuss what we see and identify visible conditions that may require attention. The client receives a simple prioritized Building Envelope Care Snapshot. Ideal for Property Managers, Strata Managers, Facilities Managers, Appraisers, Building Envelope Consultants.

The BECA is a high-level visual assessment and is not an engineering, architectural or structural building-envelope condition assessment. Where deeper investigation, testing, design or professional opinion is required, Competition Glass can coordinate with qualified consultants and engineers.

Every regional team runs one, and a BECA is arranged by a person rather than by a form. Reach the team for the region the building is in, the four are below, and ask for a walkthrough.
